The Product Marketing Manager (PMM), will be responsible for establishing and driving the local marketing effort for the small business marketing team. This PMM will be responsible for building and executing a plan to extend marketing reach, build brand awareness, and ultimately drive more new business in select group of U.S. metro areas.  You will develop a deep understanding of the Salesforce products, be laser focused on small business marketing, and work closely with campaign marketing, sales, and product teams.  You will be creative, intellectually curious, and driven to build quality relationships. This role requires strong leadership, planning, collaboration and relationship-building skills as you will be required to partner with many internal, and external business partners.  This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an incredibly fast growing business at Salesforce.  Key attributes include an analytical GTM mindset for both short and long term thinking, creativity to keep our local presence fresh, and the ability to build strong and lasting relationships.  The PMM gives presentations to customers, prospects and sales teams.



  • Amplify Salesforce’s small business vision in local markets with inspiring marketing that showcases products’ value to small businesses.

  • Own the SMB influencer marketing program, from strategy to everyday execution.

  • Coordinate across teams for the creation of assets, event planning, and overall integrated planning.

  • Help create effective marketing assets and content for co-marketing campaigns including web content, product integration videos, webinars, customer success studies, and more

  • Own the coordination of influencer marketing activities events, webinars, social, and demand gen focused marketing.

  • Confidently deliver presentations to audiences of all sizes (ranging from one person to thousands of people).

  • Work with a cross-functional team to accomplish annual goals and objectives.

  • The PMM should be flexible with travel.



  • 7 years of professional work experience with at least 2-3 years in product marketing. Must have event management or project management experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • MBAs are nice to have too!

  • Exceptional project and time management skills – highly organized, able to prioritize, detail focused, results-driven, and accountable

  • Dynamic, articulate, and confident personality with ability to successfully drive projects in tight timeframes with minimal guidance

  • Outstanding spoken and written communication skills, as well as superb listening skills, with an ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to a variety of audiences.

  • Understanding of the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) / cloud computing space

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel 20%
