Salesforce Commerce Cloud is seeking a Lead Software Engineer/Test Engineer to work inside of our product groups testing our cloud ecommerce platform. In this role you will work alongside our development teams and play a pivotal role in defining the test strategy for each production deliverable. As a test engineer embedded into the development team, you will provide guidance to developers in building more robust unit tests to ensure we are driving quality inside the development effort. You will be responsible for testing in parallel to development with the end goal of automating the tests for the feature or service. You will then see that feature into production deployment and monitor real-time use. Ideal candidates will come from a strong technical testing background and have the ability to understand highly complex architectures, define effective test strategies, and develop automated scripts that extend our automation frameworks and tools. We are seeking candidates with experience automating at the API level, who feel comfortable working at any level of the tech stack (UI, Application, Database, Web). Versatility is key in this position, candidates will be expected to frequently learn, adapt, test, and deploy new technologies to enable future capabilities of the Demandware platform.
