As Lead User Researcher working on Commerce Cloud, you drive the User Research & Analytics initiative at the core of our Commerce products. Your insights will increase people’s productivity at work: merchants will be more effective at setting up their storefront and marketers will be on top of Campaigns and Promotions on products in their catalog. Commerce Cloud transforms the businesses of hundreds of thousands of customers and millions of users. Your insights will matter – at scale.

  • Provide strategic and tactical insights that inform design and development for Commerce Cloud
  • Conduct research engagements as an individual contributor
  • Partner fully with designers, engineers, product managers, and documentation writers to provide the best possible experience for our users and customers

Required Experience / Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience conducting research in user experience, product design, or technology contexts
  • Familiarity with basic statistical methods and concepts
  • Ability to plan, design, execute and communicate both strategic and tactical research engagements
  • Expert understanding of research methods (qualitative and quantitative) and best practices
  • Proven track record influencing product direction and strategy with actionable insights
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams (e.g. design, product management, engineering)
  • Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills
  • M.A./M.S. or Ph.D. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), Cognitive or Experimental Psychology, Sociology or a related degree


  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams
  • Experience with business software, solutions, technology
  • Experience with commerce and retail verticals
