Location: San Francisco, CA


We help engineers and their customers observe and operate their services quickly and painlessly. We build web platforms for monitoring the internet of things, reporting the public health of Salesforce to our customers, and managing Salesforce’s infrastructure. Our products are used by thousands of people inside and outside of Salesforce every day.

Refocus:
Refocus is a visualization platform for representing, understanding, and managing service health and status. Refocus is an open source product that is easy to integrate external data, has an elegant user experience, and enables effective incident resolution.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate ideas to other designers and developers
  • Work on various web, mobile and tablet application interfaces
  • Create designs, icons and layouts
  • Generate detailed specs of final designs that allow devs to build accurately
  • Produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
  • Create storyboards to detail the user experience
  • Generate prototypes to quickly validate design choices
Basic Requirements: 
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in design related field, or equivalent experience
  • Portfolio of high quality visual design work on web applications
  • Experience creating layouts, mockups and icons with Sketch or Adobe CS 
  • Ability to create prototypes 
  • User-centered approach to test and iterate designs based on user’s feedback
  • Translate concepts into wireframes and intuitive, user friendly screens
  • A deep appreciation and talent for simple solutions to complex problems
Desired Skills:
  • Experience in designing data visualization interfaces and icon set
  • Experience in creating pattern libraries
  • Experience with HTML/CSS
