The Salesforce IT Enterprise Integration team is seeking a Enterprise Integration Development Lead to guide contingent team members in developing, testing and deploying integration solutions on our best-of-class integration platform that supports our company’s internal operations.
As an Enterprise Integration Development Lead, you will be responsible for guiding multiple contingent developers to meet the objectives of your integration project assignments. You and your team members will be responsible for producing sustainable, reusable, well-tested code that meets our internal software development standards using the Agile methodology to deliver on project commitments. You must effectively manage the engineering function for your assigned projects to ensure the successful delivery to production. As a development lead, you must use your technical knowledge and your interpersonal skills to deliver elegant technical solutions while fostering strong working relationships with team members and internal business partners to effectively manage priorities, coordinate efforts, manage capacity, measure delivery health, and ensure success of your projects.
This role requires that you lead your project team members through all phases of the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate must have the ability to coordinate the development activities and tasks for a geographically dispersed workforce, as well as provide hands-on coding assistance in times of need. You will partner with the team’s solution architect to define the overall technical design, hire and on-board contingent developers, provide day-to-day implementation guidance, perform code reviews, create deployment runlists and transfer knowledge to support staff members. You must have a solid programming background using Mule, Java, XSLT, and XPath in order to deliver solutions in our environment. You must be able to understand problems quickly in order to determine options and the correct course of action for your technical solutions. You will also be required to mentor peers and junior team members to share knowledge and increase the competency of the team.
To be successful at this position, you must be a self-starter with the ability to take ownership, work under pressure, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously while keeping a good sense of humor. You must possess good oral and written documentation skills and be able to collaborate effectively with other team members is geographically dispersed locations.
