Role Description:

Content management is critical for our customers’ management and delivery of messages across marketing channels. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, managing and optimizing the foundation for how users, partners, developers, and system integrators create, manage and integrate to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Content Management solution. You will be involved in both technical and business communications with our customers, partners, and field on a day-to-day basis as well as scoping, prioritizing, and defining product delivery with our highly talented and motivated engineering teams.


  • Own the product vision for your area. Ensure that it aligns with the overall product and company vision. Be an expert on the domain, the market, the trends. Evangelize the vision constantly so all stakeholders are aligned, have context and understand where we are goin
  • Represent the customer. Be the champion and voice of customers. Build impactful, personal relationships with customers, engineering teams, and the field. Bring the customer’s voice into the creation process
  • Define the scope of deliverables, use cut-throat prioritization, and constantly communicate with engineering teams to prioritize and deliver best-in-class products in a highly agile environment.
  • Strong experience with SAAS and platform first while working with agile development practices.
  • Collaborate across teams. We win or lose as a team. Product Managers play a critical role in creating alignment between engineering teams and stakeholders. A collaborative attitude is essential to the job
  • Travel: If the candidate is based in San Francisco, monthly travel to Indianapolis would be a requirement


  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Product Management or comparable roles
  • Direct experience in engineering or product management roles with content management, Elasticsearch, API development
  • Technical background with hands-on software development experience is a must
  • Ability to lead, drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record for full lifecycle product management developing products from concept to delivery
