FOCUS AREA— Sales Cloud — Quote-to-Cash

LOCATION - San Francisco, CA 

Position/Department Description:
We are looking for marketers who are energized by partnering with Sales Leadership, creating compelling strategies to drive the business, and doing marketing that shakes up the market.
The Director, Product Marketing, Salesforce CPQ will drive the go to market strategy for the Salesforce CPQ and overall Quote-to-Cash products by partnering with our Sales Leadership, Corporate Marketing, Industry, Partner and Product teams. S/he is responsible for developing a cross cloud narrative and aligning Product Marketers to have a joint unified GTM and enablement strategy.

Your Impact:
  • Be the CPQ and Quote-to-Cash expert and work with the industry's most respected sales team by partnering with Corporate Marketing and Enablement to develop content, enablement messaging, plays, and GTM programs that help drive pipeline, find new buyers, and cross-sell into existing accounts
  • Align with the Quote-to-Cash and Sales Cloud Product Management teams to drive strategy and create/deliver product releases materials and content delivery, following standard Salesforce release checklist.
  • Build compelling product messaging and positioning and deliver this through collateral (written, video, and PPT/slide materials), demand activities (ABM, nurture), and events (webinars, Salesforce-sponsored events, industry)
  • Work closely with the industry experts and Analyst and Press Relations teams to ensure effective thought leadership and ongoing relevancy in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline
  • Be proactive in recognizing where the business may need marketing support and the effective levers to pull
  • Communicate effectively and often to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex sales organizations with a passion for doing product marketing that helps the bottom line and drives business.
  • 6+ years marketing/product marketing experience with a passion for cloud computing
  • Quote-to-Cash and/or CPQ industry knowledge a plus
  • Strong ability to influence and work cross-functionally
  • Strong communication and writing skills and ability to work across business lines, presenting to executive leadership and at different levels of management
  • Ability to sell ideas well through creative & innovative cohesive presentations.
  • Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content
  • Super-star skills managing multiple projects with very tight deadlines
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence
  • Ability to have a keen marketing eye and guide a creative process of content generation.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally ~40% of the time
