Are you a financial services subject matter expert that has deep domain expertise and looks at the industry through a different lens? Are you excited about the driving forces that are changing the landscape in Financial Services? Are you a visionary thinker with demonstrable experience of thought leadership and knowledge across Insurance?
Is so, we are looking for a thought leader to join our EMEA Financial Services Industry Team. This is a senior level role and requires an individual who has a strong point of view and strategy for the insurance industry, understands industry marketing, gets the importance of messaging, how to take products to market and how to support sales via innovative enablement methods and direct deal support. Most importantly you must understand the EMEA market and regional differences.
We are looking for the 4 key attributes in a leader:
1. Sub-vertical Experience: The need of the role now is to be a sub-vertical subject matter expert across Insurance. The role requires 10+ years of experience across the sub-verticals and 5+ years at a technology firm selling to sub-vertical firms. You need to have a strong POV and be recognized as thought leader in the space.
2. Sales Support: You will work directly with the Head of FS for EMEA, and with the sales leadership on defining and executing the go to market strategy. You will help shape the vision for top accounts and be a key part of the sales team.
3. Industry Marketing Leadership: The individual needs to be well versed in Industry Marketing. You need to be a hands on leader, help to set the vision for Salesforce within the industry sub-verticals, engage others in the team with this vision, and define the marketing plan for the sub-vertical product suite. You need to be comfortable with writing a POV, creating compelling visions of the future, building thought provoking presentations that the field can use for enablement and used in customer meetings. Also, you must have experience in writing white papers, blogs and overall thought pieces. To accomplish this, you will work closely with Product Management, the overall Financial Services Product Marketing Management team, corporate marketing, sales, pre-sales and partners.
4. Product Ambassador: You have the ability to crisply deliver the industry and product message to customers and prospects in various forums, seamlessly transition from speaking to a room of execs, to industry events to very large keynote presentations. The individual needs a high energy, to be an outstanding communicator and to be able to operate at the high frequency of the team.
You need to have a proven track record in the above areas, as you will be representing Salesforce as the industry segment executive leader in EMEA.
