Department Overview:
The Human Resources Compliance (HRC) organization is part of the company’s centralized Compliance & Audit Center.  The HRC team is led by the Sr. Director of HR Compliance, reporting to the VP of Compliance and to the EVP, Chief Compliance Officer.  The Chief Compliance Officer reports to the President, Legal and General Counsel. The HR Compliance team is innovating in the field, developing a proactive “compliance by design” model to support the #1 Salesforce value of trust, to protect the Company, our customers, and our employees and to enable rapid growth.  HRC partners closely with key business partners--Employee Success (HR), Payroll, Legal, IT, Security, as well as other compliance teams-- to identify and prioritize HR-related risks globally, to help design and operationalize mitigation efforts, to monitor and audit controls already in place, to provide training and education and to serve as trusted advisors.

Position Overview
We are looking to hire an innovative, entrepreneurial HR Compliance Manager/Sr. Manager to help grow and scale our global HRC program.  The HRC Manager/Sr. Manager will help to drive continuous improvement of our HR-related controls and to deliver tangible process improvements and strengthening of our HR compliance environment.  In the role, you will partner closely with business process owners to develop and help operationalize action plans, provide best practices and practical HR-compliance advice to our business partners and conduct controls testing, monitoring and auditing.  The Manager/Sr. Manager will need to have a global mindset, understanding regional differences and requirements and partnering with teams around the world.

Your Impact (Roles & Responsibilities)
Salesforce is a highly innovative, fast-paced, growing company, and the global HR-compliance environment is rapidly evolving.  The HRC Manager/ Sr. Manager needs to be able to constantly flex in the face of the constantly changing external and internal environment, running with the pace of the business and delivering on multiple simultaneous priorities.

You will have significant experience and subject matter expertise in global HR-related compliance as well as process and/or project management and controls.   You will be laser-focused on understanding and anticipating the needs of your internal customers, being proactive in all that you do, delivering excellent timely work product, communicating openly and transparently, and working collaboratively.  You will be comfortable being a member of a small team that works closely together and will report directly to the Sr. Director of HR Compliance.

Roles and responsibilities will include:
Conduct risk assessments to evaluate internal and external risk environment
Proactively identify HR Compliance-related gaps or conflicts in existing processes, collaboratively prioritize risk, and help develop and operationalize mitigation efforts with business partners
Monitoring, auditing and controls testing
Advise and assist HR process and control owners with the preparation and on-going maintenance of control documentation
Drive and manage daily HR Compliance activities including updating and delivering compelling, timely HR compliance reporting
Partner with other internal teams to identify and mitigate HR-aspects of compliance risks
Support HR process owners during internal and external audits
Develop and deliver HR- related compliance related communications, training and education
Build strong working relationships with internal departments, particularly with teams located outside HQ  
Track industry best practices related to key HR processes and new HR-related compliance requirements
Maintain dialogue with other industry colleagues and professional organizations to keep abreast of trends in the industry and in compliance processes as well as current best practices/techniques. Assist in translating the appropriate solutions to our Company
Manage department administrative tasks including invoice process, schedule meetings, tracking in GRC tool and other tasks as needed
Manage and/or contribute to special projects both ongoing/recurring, as needed, in an effective and efficient manner

Required Skills/Experience (Basic Qualifications):
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
At least seven to ten years of experience in the field of human resources operations, compliance, legal/paralegal, or auditing
At least seven to ten years experience managing and implementing projects that includes:  identifying, maintaining, and adjusting project scope and resources, formal planning, tracking, and reporting of project performance and testing controls, monitoring and auditing in HR
Experience supporting a global company and a global mindset
Expert in MS Office (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and/or G Suite (e.g. Gmail, Docs, Drive)
A passion for analyzing data and translating it into a compelling narrative, and for tracking progress, results, findings and plans and report progress against a budget
Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills across all levels of the Company, managing through influence
Comfortability operation in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace
Ability to simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple client demands, and shifting priorities under tight deadlines
A proactive, resourceful self-starter with strong problem-solving skills  
Sound, reasonable professional judgment and business acumen
Ability to see the big picture, while having a keen detail orientation  
Confidence in voicing thoughts and position as compliance issues arise, while helping to communicate process recommendations and findings in a diplomatic and effective manner to key stakeholders

Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience working with high growth companies and companies that operated at scale--$20B+ in Revenue
Cloud, enterprise software or technology industry experience
HR Certification preferred
Experience with HR-related statutory, regulatory and/or professional compliance standards and practices, focused on international markets
Expertise in developing process documentation and flowcharts
Flexibility to travel up to 30% (domestic and international); open to future opportunities for international rotation assignments
Bilingual or other language proficiency
